Identical in look, feel, and appearance to Roblon (aka Spunflex). In factory head to head tests, Polytex is approximately 10% stronger than Roblon. Both Roblon and Polytex have been used for over 20 years by many historic vessels, primarily as it was the only option available before the hemp colored polyesters became available.
Polytex is darker in color than hempex, POSH, buff, etc. It is also comparatively smooth looking and shiny in appearance relative to hempex or POSH. Polytex exhibits very good UV resistance and is quite durable.
